HOW TO PRAY THE CHAPLET OF MERCY

The Chaplet of Mercy is recited using ordinary beads of five decades.

THE 3’O CLOCK PRAYER

“You expired Jesus, but the Source of Life gushed forth for souls, 

and the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world. 

O Fount of Life, unfathomable Divine Mercy, 

envelop the whole world and empty Yourself out upon us.”

“O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of Mercy for us,

I trust in You.”(3x)

On rosary beads First say one:
THE OUR FATHER… THE HAIL MARY … and the  APOSTLE'S CREED…

Then on the Our Father beads say:

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of your dearly beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ in atonement of our sins and of the whole world.

On the ten small beads of each decade, say: 

For the sake of His sorrowful passion,

Have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Then Conclude with (3x)

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy us And on the whole world.

Closing Prayer

Eternal God,  in whom mercy is endless  and the treasury  of   compassion inexhaustible,  look kindly  upon us and  increase your mercy in us,  that  in  difficult  moments we  might  not despair, nor  become  despondent,  but with  great confidence submit ourselves to your holy will, which is love and mercy itself. (950)

Recite the Chaplet using the Rosary beads

1. Sign of the Cross
2. Optional Prayer or Personal Intention or ( The 3 o'clock prayer)
3. Our Father
4. Hail Mary
5. The Apostle's Creed
6. Eternal Father . . .
7. For the sake . . .
8. For the large bead say Eternal Father and for the small beads say  For the sake . . .
9 Holy God, Holy Mighty one, Holy Immortal One . . . 3x
  and say  "Jesus, I Trust in You"

Then say the closing prayer.
